STATEMENT: The sinuous form and camouflaged skin of 75.150-88° obliquely references nature. However, its objectification in an exhibition context renders it completely artificial, highlighting the juxtaposition of imitation and the organic and disguising it, paradoxically, in a conspicuous manner.
ARTIST BIO: Mark has a Masters degree from UNSW. He has exhibited at Bathurst Regional Art Gallery and Hazelhurst Regional Gallery. He won the Major Award at Sculpture at Scenic World in 2017, has received NSW Artists’ Grants, and undertaken residences at Sydney Olympic Park and Phasmid Studios in Berlin.

ARTIST BIO: Fraser the Razor is an emerging sculptor based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney. Working mostly in steel, Fraser has exhibited in gallery exhibitions and outdoor sculpture shows locally, regionally and interstate.
