We are very excited to announce that Sculptures in the Garden 2018 acquisition winner’s work has now been installed as part of the Lawson Park sculpture walk. The permanent display provides enjoyment for all member of the community and is a major reason as to why Sculptures in the Garden takes place annually. We love to see members of the community enjoying these sculptures. If you visit the park be sure to tag us on Instagram @sculpturesinthegarden.
Three more sculptures have been added by the below winners:
- Hui Selwood from Hill End. Hui took out the major $25,000 Sculptures in the Garden and Mid-Western Regional Council prize for his work, ‘Pentad’.
- Matt Hill from Melbourne who won the $10,000 Friends of Sculptures in the Garden prize for his work ‘Jack Thompson (Cleo Centrefold circa 1973)’
- Richard Nagel, a Mudgee local who was awarded the $5,000 Moolarben prize for his work, ‘Flame Within’.
